Distinct coded Events by occurrence date and location; Stories by reporting date under every authoritative country attribution or linked Event country, matching the ordinary Stories country filter. Directory, map and profile use the same country scope. Country Story buckets overlap. Global Event totals include unlocated and global Events and are independently counted from date summaries, never summed over countries. Linked-entity totals are distinct served identity/id-space pairs across the entire selected Event scope, including unlocated Events in an unrestricted world scope; they are never summed from overlapping country counts and remain null when Event context is unavailable or not requested. A routable snapshot describes available evidence, not finished upstream intake.

Counts reflect the available serving snapshot. Missing source coverage remains unavailable; a blank is never a fabricated zero.
