Pix is an instant payment platform created and managed by the monetary authority of Brazil, the Central Bank of Brazil (BCB). It enables transfers between individuals in Brazilian real 24 hours a day and without interruptions, even outside banking hours, during holidays or weekends, with no fees. Payments made and received by legal entities may be subject to fees.
