EU, France, Germany and Palestine launch TAJDID water project in Jenin

On 2026-05-07, the EU, France, Germany, and Palestinian authorities launched the TAJDID wastewater treatment and reuse project in Jenin West. The initiative includes more than 100 kilometres of wastewater collection networks, a treatment plant with an initial capacity of about 3,700 cubic metres per day, and reuse infrastructure for agriculture. It is framed as a strategic water and public-health infrastructure investment in Jenin.
