VHP backs Bhojshala verdict and seeks return of Vagdevi idol in Madhya Pradesh

On 2026-05-16, Vishva Hindu Parishad International President Alok Kumar publicly welcomed the Madhya Pradesh High Court verdict on the Bhojshala dispute and described it as a historic, well-considered judgment. He also called for the return of the Vagdevi (Saraswati) idol and urged the Government of India to make efforts to bring it back and install it in the temple.
