Ukrainian forces attack radiation monitoring lab at nuclear power plant

On 2026-05-04, Ukrainian forces reportedly carried out a drone attack on the external radiation monitoring laboratory at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. According to the station management and the IAEA, no critical damage and no injuries were reported. The attack was said to have posed a nuclear safety risk.
