Madhya Pradesh CM lays foundation for Indore-Pithampur economic corridor

On 2026-05-03, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav laid the foundation stone for the first phase of the Indore-Pithampur economic corridor in Nainod village near Indore. Officials said the corridor will connect the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, national highways, an inland container depot, the rail network, and Indore airport and cargo terminal to boost industrial production and logistics. The project is expected to attract fresh investment and support new industrial parks and expressways.
