EU to remove tariffs on U.S. industrial goods

On 2026-05-20, representatives of the European Parliament and EU member states agreed in Strasbourg to remove remaining tariffs on imports of U.S. industrial goods and lower tariffs on certain U.S. agricultural products. The measure implements part of the trade deal reached last July and may be reversed if needed.
