U.S. beef gets expanded access to Saudi Arabia

On 2026-04-13, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority fully removed the requirement that U.S. beef exporters participate in the Export Verification Program to ship to Saudi Arabia. The change expands access for U.S. beef in the Saudi market and could allow $100 million to $150 million in annual imports, according to USMEF officials.
