Cabinet duty waiver approved for import of new e-buses and trucks

On 2026-05-03, the Cabinet of Bangladesh approved a proposal granting a large waiver of customs duties and taxes on imports of new electric buses and trucks. The measure was adopted in Dhaka to encourage an environmentally friendly transportation system.
