Indonesia’s Komdigi deactivates 1.7 million TikTok accounts under age 16

On 2026-04-28, Indonesia's Komdigi said TikTok had deactivated 1.7 million accounts belonging to users under age 16 as part of compliance with PP Tunas. The ministry said the platform was the first to submit a compliance commitment and more detailed action plan under the child protection regulation.
