Shelling of Kyiv on May 14 leaves more than 10 people injured

On 2026-05-14, Russian forces shelled/struck Kyiv overnight, destroying part of a residential building in the Darnytskyi district. Rescue crews continued searching through the rubble, and later updates put the Kyiv death toll at five, with more than 30 injured in the damaged house and more than 10 people initially reported missing.
