Currensea secures Dutch payments licence to expand across Europe

On 2026-05-07, Dutch regulatory authorities reportedly granted Currensea a European payments licence. Currensea said the approval is a major milestone that will allow it to expand its co-branded debit card business across the European Economic Area from a Netherlands base.
