Regis and Vault merge to create $7.7B gold producer

On 2026-05-05, Regis Resources agreed to merge with Vault Minerals in an all-share deal valued at about A$10.7 billion (US$7.7 billion). The combined company will retain the Regis name, be headquartered in Perth, and become a senior gold producer with output expected above 700,000 ounces annually.
