China sends humanitarian aid to Lebanon amid ongoing conflict

On 2026-05-05, China handed over two batches of humanitarian aid to the Lebanese government to assist people affected by the ongoing conflict. The aid included food supplies, tents, blankets, and hygiene items, and Chinese Ambassador Chen Chuandong said it was intended to help ease Lebanon's humanitarian crisis.
