Oxfordshire village Co-op store to permanently close

On 2026-05-07, Midcounties Co-Operative confirmed it will permanently close its Dorchester-on-Thames store in Oxfordshire and sell the building. The company said the shop had become financially unsustainable and no other store location could be found, leaving the village without a supermarket.
