DAP backs Aminuddin as Negeri Menteri Besar, readies snap polls

On 2026-05-05, Democratic Action Party secretary-general Anthony Loke said after the party鈥檚 Central Executive Committee meeting in Kuala Lumpur that DAP fully backs Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun to remain Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan. The party also said it would not agree to any proposal to change the menteri besar and would keep its machinery ready for possible snap elections in Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and Johor.
