Police use water cannons to stop Congress protest over NEET irregularities in Jaipur

On 2026-05-21, hundreds of Congress workers marched in Jaipur toward the BJP state headquarters to protest alleged NEET-UG irregularities. Police stopped the march at barricades near Shaheed Smarak and used water cannons to disperse the protesters. The workers were led by Pradesh Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra and demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
