NBI investigates alleged Duterte hitman from her own security detail

On 2026-04-30, the Philippine National Bureau of Investigation said it was investigating members of Vice President Sara Duterte's security protection group as it tried to identify the alleged hitman she claimed to have contracted against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. The bureau said the suspect may be an active or former military member and that it was still tracking several individuals.
