MMIWG2S+ vigil held on Parliament Hill for Red Dress Day

On 2026-05-05, a vigil was held on Parliament Hill in Ottawa to mark Red Dress Day and call for more action on missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and two-spirit people. Bridget Tolley and Families of Sisters in Spirit led the demonstration. No violence or arrests were reported.
