Crowds march in memory of missing and murdered Indigenous people

On 2026-05-05, the Indigenous Women of the Wabanaki Territories organized a Red Dress Day memory walk in Fredericton to honor missing and murdered Indigenous people, expanding the cause to include Indigenous men. More than 100 people reportedly attended the event, which was described as a peaceful awareness march.
