On 2026-05-15, Ola Electric Mobility approved a Rs 2,000 crore investment into its wholly owned subsidiaries Ola Electric Technologies and Ola Cell Technologies. The funds, split as Rs 1,500 crore and Rs 500 crore via compulsory convertible preference shares, are intended to support EV and battery manufacturing and deepen localisation and vertical integration.
