Novo Nordisk scraps new Danish factory plans

On 2026-05-14, Novo Nordisk said it was abandoning plans for a new factory in Denmark and would instead use the Odense facility as a warehouse and storage site. The company said the change reflected shifts in global demand, and more than half of the 150 construction-site jobs would be cut.
