France and African countries sign €23 billion investment agreement for strategic sectors

On 2026-05-11, France and African partners presented a €23 billion investment commitment at the Africa Forward summit in Nairobi. The package includes €14 billion from French public and private funds and €9 billion from African investors, targeting energy transition, digitalization, artificial intelligence, maritime economy, and agriculture.
