DBN and AfDB launch $61m package to fund women-led MSMEs

On 2026-05-13, the Development Bank of Nigeria and the African Development Bank Group announced a $61 million financing package for women-owned and women-led MSMEs in Nigeria. The package includes a $50 million gender-focused line of credit, an $8 million concessional facility, and a $3 million grant. The lenders said the funds are intended to expand access to credit and support women entrepreneurs across key sectors.
