EBRD extends InvestEU guarantees worth €270 million to Romanian banks

On 2026-05-21, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development officially launched a Risk Sharing Facility in Romania, extending EUR 270 million in InvestEU guarantees to Romanian banks. The program is intended to mobilize new green financing for households and firms and support energy savings and emission reductions.
