Iran’s foreign ministry processes procedures for Vietnamese ships to transit Hormuz

On 2026-04-03, Iran’s Foreign Ministry said Iran was processing procedures to facilitate the passage of Vietnamese vessels through the Strait of Hormuz after a request from Hanoi. Vietnamese officials said they had worked with the Iranian embassy in Hanoi and Iran’s Foreign Ministry to secure safe transit for ships and seafarers.
