Over 1,000 Singapore police and emergency services conduct counter-terrorism exercise

On 2026-05-06, more than 1,000 police, army, civil defence and aviation personnel took part in Exercise Nexus Resolve in Singapore. The two-day counter-terrorism drill tested coordination, command and control responses to simulated mall and aircraft terrorist scenarios, including hostage situations, aircraft hijacking and improvised explosive devices.
