Bolivia peace initiative calls for National Accord to ensure stability and reforms

On 2026-05-09, Bolivian President Rodrigo Paz opened the national political summit in Cochabamba and called on political leaders, governors, mayors, and social sectors to build an agreement for stability and reforms. He said the government will present more than 10 draft laws and urged consensus to address Bolivia's economic and institutional crisis.
