Angola inaugurates mega solar park to boost national electrification

On 2026-05-05, President João Lourenço inaugurated a photovoltaic solar park in Luau, Moxico-Leste, Angola. The project has 31.85 MW of installed capacity, 79 MW of storage, and is said to power more than 20,000 homes and benefit about 94,000 people.
