Mahavir Jayanti

Mahavira Janma Kalyanaka is one of the most important religious festivals in Jainism. It celebrates the birth of Mahavira, the twenty-fourth and last Tīrthaṅkara of present Avasarpiṇī. On the Gregorian calendar, the festivity occurs either in March or April.
