Mahabir Pun

Mahabir Pun is a Nepalese scientist, politician, researcher, teacher, social entrepreneur and an activist. He is a member of parliament representing Myagdi-1 constituency, the only independent candidate to win a seat in the 2026 Nepalese general election. He previously served as the Minister of Education, Science and Technology in the interim government after anti-government Gen Z protests.
