Nepali Army

The Nepali Army, formerly known as the Royal Nepali Army, is the land warfare branch of the Nepalese Armed Forces. It traces it's roots back to 1559, with the establishment of the Gorkha Kingdom, where it was initially formed as the Gorkhali Army, a term closely associated with the Gurkhas.
