Fernando

Fernando is a Spanish and Portuguese given name and a surname common in Spain, Portugal and former Spanish or Portuguese colonies in Latin America, Africa and Asia. It is the most used surname in Sri Lanka. Fernando is a common surname among the Tamil speaking Paravars. It is equivalent to the Germanic given name Ferdinand, with an original meaning of "adventurous, bold journey".
