Maritime Security Response Team

The Maritime Security Response Team (MSRT) is a maritime counter-terrorism and high risk law enforcement unit of the United States Coast Guard. It was originally formed in 2004 as the Security Response Team One (SRT-1) and then renamed the Enhanced-MSST. However, it was offically formed in 2006. It part of the Deployable Specialized Forces and is the only rapidly deployable unit in the United States Coast Guard. It trains with the Navy SEALS, SWCC, 75th Ranger Regiment, and other Special Operations forces, including some foreign units.
