HD Hyundai partners with Indian government entities for joint shipyard project

On 2026-04-20, HD Hyundai signed an MOU with India鈥檚 NSHIP TN and Sagarmala Finance Corporation Ltd. to form a joint venture shipbuilding company in India. The partners said the project would establish a digital-focused shipyard and a training centre, with HD Hyundai taking the lead as largest shareholder. The announcement was made in New Delhi on the occasion of a bilateral summit.
