Iran resumes rail services on war-damaged routes

On 2026-04-13, Iran resumed rail services on key routes after repairing track and bridge damage from the war with Israel and the United States. Trains restarted from Tabriz toward Tehran and Mashhad, and a Tehran-Tabriz-Van service also reopened using rebuilt tracks. The interruption had lasted four to five days on the affected routes.
