Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer orders agencies to assess tariff impacts, refunds

On 2026-04-04, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed an executive directive in Lansing ordering state agencies to assess the impact of federal tariffs on Michigan industries and consumers.
