Pakistan hikes duties on used phones by 175%

On 2026-04-23, Pakistan's Federal Board of Revenue issued a new customs valuation ruling that raised the valuation of used imported mobile phones by up to 175%. The measure makes 62 phone models more expensive by increasing the tax base for customs duties.
