ILO expands support for Pakistan’s textile sector

On 2026-04-09, the International Labour Organisation signed memorandums of understanding in Islamabad with Pakistani textile bodies to expand support for labour standards, workplace practices, and sustainable growth. The collaboration is aimed at improving competitiveness in global supply chains and supporting export-oriented textile and apparel firms.
