Afghan and Uzbek traders sign 14 trade deals worth $524m in Herat

On 2026-04-14, Afghan and Uzbek businesspeople signed 14 commercial agreements worth more than $524 million at a business connectivity conference in Herat. The deals were arranged between the private sectors of Uzbekistan’s Andijan region and Afghanistan’s western Herat province, according to the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment.
