Air New Zealand launches lie-flat Skynest bunk beds on new Boeing 787-9

On 2026-04-16, Air New Zealand launched its Skynest lie-flat bunk-bed product for long-haul flights on its new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The airline said the six-pod bunk-style layout is designed to give economy passengers a chance to rest on some of the world’s longest routes to and from New Zealand.
