RPower shares in focus as US Exim flags 'debt default'

On 2026-04-30, the Export Import Bank of the United States filed an insolvency application under Section 7 of India’s IBC against Reliance Power-linked Samalkot Power Ltd, alleging a debt default of net debt $165.41 million guaranteed by the parent company. The company said the matter is sub judice and that it will contest the application.
