CISA and UK NCSC warn of China-linked covert cyber networks

On 2026-04-25, CISA and the U.K. NCSC issued a joint advisory warning about covert networks of compromised devices linked to Chinese state-sponsored cyber actors. The advisory said the actors were using numerous evolving covert networks at scale for malicious cyber activity and recommended steps to detect and secure network edge devices and VPN access.
