Morocco’s Nasser Bourita meets EU to reaffirm strategic partnership

On 2026-04-16, Morocco and the European Union held high-level talks in Rabat between Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas. The sides reaffirmed the EU–Morocco partnership and agreed to concrete steps, including upcoming political consultations, a security dialogue, and relaunching institutional meetings under the Association Agreement, with an expressed intention to finalize a Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership.
