WKU housing plan unanimously passes Kentucky state committee

On 2026-04-28, WKU’s housing plan received final approval from the Kentucky Capitol Projects and Bond Oversight Committee in Frankfort, allowing the university to move forward with a public-private partnership for its dorms. The plan involves WKU and international real estate company Gilbane and had already been approved by the WKU Board of Regents the previous Friday.
