Nigeria’s Defence Agency DICON partners with EIB Group to localize drones and hardware

On 2026-04-04, the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) signed a memorandum of understanding with EIB Group at DICON Headquarters in Kaduna State. The pact is aimed at localizing production of unmanned aerial systems, tactical drones, military hardware, and related software and equipment. According to the statement, the partnership is intended to reduce Nigeria’s dependence on foreign defence imports and strengthen national security infrastructure.
