India and Bangladesh agree to enhance media delegation exchange visits

On 2026-04-13, India and Bangladesh agreed in Dhaka to enhance exchange visits of media delegations. Indian High Commissioner Pranay Verma made a courtesy call on Bangladesh Minister of Information and Broadcasting Zahir Uddin Swapon, and the two sides discussed cooperation in information and broadcasting and capacity-building initiatives. The arrangement was presented as a step to strengthen people-to-people relations and mutual understanding.
