Kazakhstan to deepen military transit cooperation with Turkey

On 2026-04-08, the Mazhilis of Kazakhstan ratified an agreement with Türkiye on the transit of military equipment and personnel through the airspace of both countries. The accord sets procedures for air transit permits, annual diplomatic clearance numbers, and flight coordination under ICAO and national rules. The ratification took place in Astana.
