Syria and Jordan strengthen bilateral ties at Higher Coordination Council in Amman

On 2026-04-12, Syrian and Jordanian officials met in Amman for the second session of the Higher Coordination Council and were expected to sign nine documents covering cooperation in multiple sectors. The talks also produced concrete bilateral measures, including a new reciprocity-based import mechanism, a joint investment committee, and improved operation of the Nassib/Jaber border crossing.
