Samoa to distribute 1,000 bed nets to reduce dengue cases

On 2026-04-11, Samoa’s Ministry of Health and the United Nations Development Programme handed over 1,000 insecticide-treated bed nets to support the country’s ongoing dengue response. The nets are to be distributed to hospitals and rural health facilities, with priority for admitted patients and children with confirmed dengue cases.
